For experience traders when would be the rite time to trade....?

basically..i have tried to trade before an important news ....trying somehow to anticipate the impact of the news..this could be more safe as i place stop loses in event of any mishap in my anticipation.

I had even tried based on technical analysis...probably i was still a bit new to the foreign exchange market ....the result is still unpredictable....any tips...?
i lost more money than i gain...(forex trading game). probably did not rely on the current event happening.

I tried to go through the news....forecast ....and also comments from economist.....but still lack of the confidence ....

Any experience intra day traders out there with experience that could give me a few tips on how to maximize my profit and minimize my loss...to a greater effect.
Any technical analysis that could help me....( currently using MACD and RSI ------------>any tips on how to maximize the usage of the graph ?)and basic information on how to trade ?

trading the FX is the samne asanywhere else. You canNOT anticipoate what news wwilldo. I have seen EXCELLENT news come out and watched the stock FALL. and seen baad news and the stock would rise. it is all about how the MARKET percieves the news. trading news is difficult in the FX in my personal opinion. If i where you i would create a 1 min bid chart and watch where it goes for a few days and get a feel for where the exchange is taking it.. and you shoul be able to giet in and out well. i also use 200dma 100dma and 50dma (dma= daily moving average)
this kind of chart is easy to understand and shows resistence well.
i like that it will allow me to see where the item is going and i it will go past (break thru ) the 200dma and if they cross etc etc.
the 1min bid can be a good inicator for intraday but not for swings so you actually need to learn your software well and how your system works and i suppose it is technical trading.but some would argu with me aboutthat Smile

tthe biggest mistake i have seenis traders jumping intopthe market without properly knowing the system they have chosen, take the time, learn it well because some trades will happen so fast theywill hurt to watch Smile

and some will take days.

In the home page in this site there is a forecast of what you should do regarding the Euro. Maybe you should check that out.

Yeah, check the forecast out. Damn, I'm going to have 100 posts, and I'm still a newbie. Funny, isn't it? But yes, the forecast should work very well. Just go along with that, and everything should be sweeelll.
